The Manchester Food and Drink Festival has curated a fantastic line up of street food heroes, from tapas and Chinese dumplings, to gourmet burgers and fish and chips. For a sugar fix there’ll be churros, bubble waffles and plenty of ice cream.
Manchester Day bars will also serve a selection of ales from the best Manchester breweries alongside delicious fizz, ciders, wines and soft drinks.
The Dutch Fishmen
With a passion for homemade and sustainable seafood and 20 years cooking experience, The Dutch Fishmen have brought Dutch-style fish and chips to the North West. They have a unique take on the English classic alongside other tasty favourites such as burgers, chicken wings and strips. All produce is marinated and cooked in house and they’re particularly proud of their homemade sauces; the Dutch mayonnaise especially!
Serving up American style BBQ Po’Boys, On Fire BBQ boasts a menu that includes grass fed heritage breed meats, alongside vegetarian and vegan offerings served from their custom built trailer

As a finalist for The British Street Food awards, Rok Kitchen provide some of the best Korean Street Food around! Owner, Steve Chatfield, learned how to cook Korean food on his travels, ensuring authenticity in his street food. Expect freshly made noodle soups, chicken skewers, and Kimchi.

Handmade in Greater Manchester, Grandpa Greene’s artisan ice cream has perfectly-balanced flavours and luxurious textures, ensuring the best quality every time. Based in Salford, Grandpa Greene used to make his ice cream back in the 1920’s providing the basis for the recipe used today. Now, this recipe has been developed to make a luxury ice cream, handmade the old fashioned way.

The Humble Kitchen prides itself on using quality, fresh ingredients. Their gourmet burgers are provided by J McRobbs, a high-quality butcher based in Blackrod, ensuring the best quality produce to make the tastiest burgers.

The Ottomen offer a lovingly developed menu of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean inspired mezze style food. The Ottomen has evolved from James’ and Nick’s love of great food. Vegetarian and vegan friendly, they also have a dish or two to satisfy the omnivores.
