Piccadilly Gardens

Young people from across Manchester have programmed an epic day of sounds, moves and more in the centre of the city. From street dance and soulful acoustic sets, to urban positive rapping, food stalls and a climbing wall, Piccadilly Gardens will be transformed into an inclusive space created by young people, for young people.

Comperes Kemoy and Callum will be kicking off the Manchester Day youth programme in style

One of Manchester’s hottest up and coming performers, RB’s music reflects his life experiences and hopes for the future

Jay

Manchester Day favourite Jay will be performing soulful covers of classic hits

2:00pm-2:30pm

Daniel

Give a big Manchester Day welcome to Daniel in his first major performance, bringing a new style of rap to the city with songs he has created himself

2:40-2:50pm

D’Vonte

The multi-talented D’Vonte is an up and coming poet and writer, and this is his first appearance at Manchester Day

Aaron

Manchester Day will be the first ever big performance for urban music artist Aaron

Raphael

A melodic rapper who tells life stories through his songs

Yael

Yael creates positive raps and songs, based on his life experiences

Jayke

Jayke will perform uplifting raps, written by himself

Acoustic musician Nikita will wow you with her powerful voice and musical talent

Victoria

Solo artist Victoria will be performing her own material and covers of well-known songs
